Site Not Dead, Promise

This site is not dead. The updates have not stopped by choice. Rather the host where this site lives experienced major hardware problems last week, causing this, and the rest of my sites to be down for about 4 days.

I am in the process of moving The Daily Pig, as well as about a dozen other sites to a new server which redundnct systems in place so this will not happen again.

For those who care, we are moving to Dreamhost, where I’ve had an account since 2002, they should be more solid than our current host.

I have stopped posting updates until the server move is complete (should be this weekend).

Expect new posting to resume this weekend along with catch-up posts.

  3. Thanks, but I’ve got it under control. It’s just a TON of stuff to move (900MB, 15 sql databases and I don’t even want to talk about email and user accounts). LOL

    But it’s most up at its new home and not publicly viewable. So everything should move over smoothly this weekend when I redirect the DNS.
